Mount Diablo Beekeepers Association is a 501(C) (3)
all volunteer non-profit organization.

MDBA educates the public through our Community Education programs about the importance of the honeybee, its role as a pollinator, and how to support the honeybee. We support this programming with observation hive equipment, portable tables, outdoor shade canopies, exhibit artifacts such as smokers, tools, honeycomb and educational posters.

MDBA supports members through the Steve Gentry Memorial Scholarship to become Master Beekeepers at UC Davis.

MDBA maintains honey extracting equipment, brings guest speakers to the monthly General Meetings, and supports scientific research for the honeybee.
